There are many similarities between Ruminant and Non-Ruminant digestive tracts. Though the processes are drastically different in other areas, they share a lot of processes and organs. They both start digestion in the mouth. They both also pass that food next to the esophagus. Then, the food passes from the esophagus to the stomach. Then, after the food is passed to the stomach and digested there its moves to the small intestine. In the small intestine mos of the nutrients are absorbed. Then the food moves to the large intestine. There, most of the water is absorbed. They both also share a lot of other organs. These include the pancreases, gall bladders, and livers.
